prayed from PSALMS 27 & 40 & 61
Lyrics
Hear my cry, God;
listen to my prayer.
Hear me, Heavenly Father;
as I lift up my prayer to You.
From the end of the earth,
with fainting heart,
I call out to you.
Set me down,
Set me down on a rock
far above
where I am now.
For You will conceal me
in Your shelter
on the day of trouble
You will hide me
in the folds of Your tent.
You will set me high
high on a rock.
Then my head will be lifted up,
up above my surrounding foes,
and I will offer
in Your tent
sacrifices with shouts of joy;
I will sing,
sing praises to You, Adonai.
Hear my praises, my God;
listen to my song.
(Hear me, Heavenly Father;
as I offer my praises to You).
For You have been
a refuge for me,
a tower of strength
in the face of the foe.
Just one thing have I asked of You;
only this will I seek:
to live in Your house, Adonai
all the days of my life,
to see Your beauty
and visit
in Your temple.
For You have heard my vows;
You have given me
the heritage
of those who fear
Your name.
I will live in Your tent forever
and find refuge
in the shelter
of Your wings.
Appoint grace and truth,
Your grace and truth
to preserve me;
Then I will sing praise
to Your name
forever,
as day after day
I fulfill my vows.
You Heard my praises, my God;
You put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to You.
Honour
and glory
and thanksgiving
are Yours forever -
the only Living God.
Halleluya
Halleluya
Halleluya
Halleluya!
Many will look in awe
and put their trust in You;
Many will look in awe
and put their trust
in You,
Adonai.
