The single parent

Get up and go, rise high, fall low. Days in nights out, don't forget who it's about.

Single mom, single dad, not one but two, two in one. Sometimes mother, sometimes father. Some days are easier ,other days harder.

Put on your father-pants on he says, take on everything on your own. You stand, you fight, you fight for your child,you fight for what is right, and on you go

Refusing to give in, to bow to the sin of destroying your child's life , their toxic ways won't win.

You cry, you scream you fight and dream one day it will change, someday it will get better

Given up waiting for that check in the mail, that apology letter.

Some days you succeed,some days you fail, by the grace of God you stand tall when they expect you to fall!

You rise and shine, take your sword to your giants, shine light on the shadows in the face of evil your defiant.

Don't give up, don't you dare quit! Your kids need you to get up and do your best.

Remember you are human too, don't get lost in the zoo. It ain't your monkey's it's not your circus. Let them deal, let them own it!

Remember to smile, and appreciate the time with your child. Works demanding, time is short, after work your spent at times you feel like you can't anymore.

Look up and praise, remember who holds you up, it's not in vain.

Jesus gives His strength and love. Victory is yours just don't quit, heaven helps you at God's command, Jesus has already given you the promised land

Laugh,dance, sing and praise, in your kids eyes there is no shame. Hold them tight,hold them close , they love you don't you know?

One day at a time,one step closer, hang in there it's not much longer. Celebrate the wins, let go of the loses, walk with pride you have become so much stronger.

Gone places not traveled ,grown in ways unimagined. You're not the same person you were before, you're a mom and dad with God on your side, you are powerful.

Dance in the rain, sing in the storms, laugh at fear, for this you were born. A warrior doesn't hide, you wear your Battle scars with pride.

Our kids will know, they will see together we will make history.

Let go let God, stress less just do your best. In the end they will endure their tests, they will grow up to see the rainbows through the rain, and rejoice through their pain.

Stronger for this,when life puts them to the test, you will smile ,you will know they got this now.

You got this, because God's got you. He has got us and Jesus brings us through.

Keep going,keep growing, stop doubting, continue testifying. You were born for more than this, born for such a time as this, born to be and raise a kingdom witness
