from PSALM 24
Lyrics
Who may go up to Your mountain, Adonai?
Who can stand in Your holy place?
Those with clean hands
(clean hands, and pure hearts),
Those with clean hands
and pure hearts
The earth is Yours, Adonai,
with all that is in it,
the world
and those who live there;
for You set its foundations
on the seas
and established it
on the rivers.
(So we'll sing)
Lift up your heads,
Lift up your heads and you gates!
Lift them up,
everlasting doors,
so that the glorious king can enter!
Who is He,
Who is this glorious king?
Adonai, strong and mighty,
(strong and mighty, mighty in battle)
Adonai, mighty in battle!
(Yes we sing)
Lift up your heads,
Lift up your heads and you gates!
Lift them up,
everlasting doors,
so that the glorious king can enter!
Who is He,
Who is this glorious king?
Adonai-Tzva’ot
(Lord of Heaven's Armies
Lord of Hosts) —
He is the glorious King
(Come and sing)
Lift up your heads,
Lift up your heads and you gates!
Lift them up,
everlasting doors,
so that the glorious king can enter!
(So we sing)
Lift them up, everlasting doors,
Lift up, lift up, lift up -
Lift up your heads and you gates!
Lift them up, everlasting doors,
so the glorious king can enter!
(Enter to reign forever)
