TRUST I
Lyrics
A thundering Multitude, closing in fast,
their numbers both terribly mighty and vast.
With horses and chariots, armed with the best,
their mission to capture escaping oppressed.
A nation enslaved by the Multitude King, released from their bondage, from death and its sting,
Now facing a body of water, The Red,
God's people are petrified, paling with dread;
With faith versus fear, with their capture at hand,
A man hears a Voice say, "keep faith, take a stand".
With arm stretched towards it, the waters gave way,
without touching water, God's power display.
Return they shall never, to Egypt again,
the closing on Multitude, enemy slain.
Forget not the Lord God and what He has done,
don't limit Him ever, the God Three in ONE.
With one single gesture by hand He did save,
despite fading trust, turning water to grave.
A grave for the godless, oppressor of Old,
don't ever deny what He's done as it's told.
Remember the fire by night you to guide,
the Armies of Heaven with God by your side
Halleluya, wonders He'll show,
show as in days of old,
without touching water.
Halleluya, wonders He'll show,
as told!
Halleluya, wonders He'll show,
show as in days of old,
without touching water.
Halleluya, wonders He'll show,
as told!
