Testify
Lyrics
It started in sin, but I will tell you it ends like this- With Jesus saving my life over and over- He is my Lord God and Savior.
Old self put to death, my salvation in tacked with Faith Hope and Love 1 Corinthians 13 a Love that knows-no bounds, that's a fact!
Let go let God, let go of all the mess. Give Jesus all the pieces of your brokenness.
Look down at your hands all torn up and bleeding, it ain't your right to hold onto the pain! Jesus paid for it with His life- don't struggle in vain. Let go let God John 3:16 is the key to be saved
No weapon formed will bring you down
With Jesus you won't drown
Put on the armor stand up tall
His love will break through every wall
You say you have been beaten down, the devil came and tried to steal your crown. The waters came and ripped through your life, The fires blazed and almost burned you alive
But Isaiah 54:17 says:
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, with Jesus it's not how your story ends. You dont need to do this on your own any longer
Let go let God release the pain, Give Him the pieces of your broken frame
Look at your hands so torn and sore
He paid the price don't fight no more
No weapon formed will bring you down
With Jesus you won't drown
Put on the armor stand up tall His love will break through every wall
Ephesians 6:11 says take up the full armour of God!
So get dressed, do your best, and trust God to take care of the rest. Keep high faith as your shield, and strong your Sword that is His Flaming Word
Galatians 5: 5 verse 1 says- It's for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by the yoke of slavery.
19 to 21 speaks of sin and chains, that's what life looks like bound up by guilt and shame. Die like that to spend eternity in excruciating pain.
By faith and salvation through the power of The Holy Spirit, Be set free and see your life will never be the same.
The proof is in the pudding your life will testify - Galatians 5 verse 22 to 24 is a promise not a lie.
Crucify the flesh, put down your old ways, Rise up the new man reborn in Jesus Christ.
Matthew 13 verse 45 to 46, let go of everything else when you find the pearl of Great Price
No weapon formed will bring you down
With Jesus you won't drown
Put on the armor stand up tall
His love will break through every wall
A fool will hear this and dismiss, but how do you know you're not being put to the test?
Proverbs 9:10 is where it begins, The fear of The Lord- seek His wisdom it will change your life, and change your destination!
