PSALM 131 & 117

Adonai, my heart isn’t proud;

I don’t set my sight too high,

I don’t take part in great affairs

or in wonders far beyond me.

No, I keep myself calm and quiet,

like a little child on its mother’s lap —

I keep myself like a little child.

Isra’el, put your hope in Adonai

from now on

and forever!

[CHORUS antiphonally]

You are my father;

You, Adonai, are my father

"Our Redeemer of Old"

is Your name.

Praise Adonai,

all you nations!

Worship Him, all you peoples!

For His grace has overcome us,

and Adonai’s truth continues

forever.

Halleluyah!

[CHORUS antiphonally]

For You are our father;

You, Adonai, are our father,

"Our Redeemer of Old"

is Your name.

That's why I keep myself calm and quiet,

like a little child on its mother’s lap —

why I keep myself like a little child.

For You are my father;

You, Adonai, are my father,

"Our Redeemer of Old"

is Your name.

"Our Redeemer of Old"

is Your name.

"Our Redeemer of Old"

is Your name, AMEN!
