Asset Retention Policy
Effective November 1, 2026
This policy covers all new and previous assets, including Previous Assets. Files with an explicitly stated retention period or expiry date follow the special rules below.
Standard asset retention

Legacy plans and historical paid benefits follow the same retention periods as their corresponding current plans.
Credit packs and plan changes
If you have both subscription and credit pack benefits, the longer retention period applies, regardless of purchase order. Basic monthly plus a credit pack provides 1 year; Pro annual plus a credit pack provides permanent storage.
Once an upgrade or downgrade takes effect, both existing and new assets follow the new plan's retention period. If you also have credit pack benefits, compare the new period with 1 year and use the longer one. Permanent storage under Pro annual is subject to this same plan-change rule.
Special file rules
The following files have independent expiry periods. Subscription upgrades and credit packs do not extend these periods. These rules apply to the result files, not the source song.

If a file displays a specific expiry date, that date takes priority. Some temporary files may expire sooner. Download them before the displayed deadline.
Videos and other assets without an explicitly stated retention period or expiry date follow the standard account retention periods above.
Permanent deletion and backups
From November 1, 2026, free-account assets older than 7 days will be permanently deleted. Assets cleared after their retention period cannot be recovered. Download important files before they expire.
Assets you manually move to Trash have a separate 7-day recovery window. Retention expiry does not provide an additional Trash recovery period.
Cloud storage retention is separate from usage rights. Storage expiry does not invalidate a commercial license already obtained for a creation.
